That's pretty Terrible, I play smash online quite a bit, I'd rather stay online but be allowed to decide when I want to update, I can't believe Nintendo handles updates so poorly especially when their system has no fail safe whatsoever.

Updated N64 Luigi Raceway to a brand new version.
Updated Summer Starville to a brand new version. Your region line in game will be determined by your Wii's country setting not disc region as is the game's default behaviour. This will also affect what regional you connect to if you search for a regional match. The normal behaviour using disc region can be obtained by altering a hidden setting in CTGP's config. If you want a white line, better be Taiwanese! Removed the region check on save data loading. This means changing your country will not cause the game to prompt you to delete your save data.
Added a toggle for the "Battle Bug" Long Distance Names, page 3 of settings that triggers a bug in Mario Kart Wii that allows you to see your opponents' names from a larger distance than normal during VS mode offline and online. Added a toggle for 24 player users that allows them to completely disable the 24 player code base page 3 of settings.
This will allow to them to enter online battle mode again and not be subject to the beta's many bugs at all times, among other things. Attempted fix for a bug that, with a roughly 1 in probability, caused the game to produce corrupted ghosts that the server would not show on the leaderboards.

Fixed a bug where it was not actually possible to form new CTWWs without using the friend room feature. Yeah, really. We didn't notice that for 3 days because so many people were trying the new feature so it looked like everything was normal.
Hopefully fixed a bug where starting a Worldwide VS from a friend room would disable the Mii Heads on the Minimap setting. Patched several exploits brought to our attention by Star, and altered a bunch of behind the scenes stuff.
In addition, some new friend room modes have been added to CTGP. These were ready before the security update and so are being included too. This means you can gather a crew of racers together, and then open up your room to the public for additional players to join at their leisure. More features are planned for friend rooms, but there wasn't time to complete them for now.
Malicious players abused this bug to submit cheated times to the leaderboards, which is the reason why the leaderboards were not accepting runs for the past week. This is not the major security update that we've been wanting to make, but a stop-gap one designed to make the leaderboards accessible once more. Special thanks goes to Scruffy, Seeky, Invoxi and Star for bringing this exploit to our attention ahead of time, we would not have been able to create a fix so quickly if not for them!

Preparations for introduction of shortcut category for Mushroom Gorge coming soon! New beta updates menu added! Adds a frameskip mode to Mario Kart Wii! This will prevent the game from running slowly when the Wii gets overloaded from complicated tracks and similar, by skipping render frames, thus introducing a noticeable stutter when ordinarily the game would lag, but critically not causing the game to slow down.
A toggle has been added to page 2 of settings to determine how the new frameskip feature should work. If set to Variable, the game will always try to recover to 60fps no matter what. Modes that were originally forced to 30fps by CTGP will now run at 60, but with frameskip. If set to Consistent, the game will try to avoid frameskipping in favour of a constant framerate, so if the game starts to lag regularly, it will transition to 30fps mode and stay there.
Modes that CTGP set to 30fps before will still be set to 30fps. Fixed a bug where brand new consoles would error when trying to connect to Wiimmfi! This update is an internal test of new features. On the surface, not much has changed, but a major recode has been under way and this update is serving to test it. Hopefully you just won't notice anything new.

Specifically, a host can now mandate that a joining player is using CTGP, specify whether or not their custom tracks must be on or off, and specify whether the My Stuff folder is allowed, allowed if it doesn't contain track replacements, or not allowed at all.
Anyone without the correct settings will get a message saying they are unable to join and if using CTGP, why they can't join. Fixed a bug where the room rule ticker would display "Always 50cc" if a host didn't specify an engine class.
